Our commitment
BlinkRead helps people quickly find the answer a headline promises, and it always links to the original source so readers can read it in full. We don't write or endorse third-party content, and the Clickbait Score is an automated opinion about headline style, calculated with a public method. It is not meant to say anything about the truthfulness, ethics or reputation of any publisher, journalist or person.
We know an automated system can get things wrong. If something we show seems inaccurate or unfair to you, we want to know and fix it.
What you can ask for
- A correction to a summary that does not accurately reflect the original article.
- A review of the Clickbait Score of an article or of your site.
- Publication of a reply or clarification next to the summary.
- Exclusion of your site from the public ranking.
- Removal of a page that affects your reputation, privacy or rights, including people mentioned in an article.
- That we stop fetching content from your site.
- Copyright removal (see below).
How to send a request
Email [email protected] and include:
- your name and, if you act for a publisher or another person, who you represent;
- the BlinkRead page link (for example
blinkread.ai/a/…orblinkread.ai/score/…) and the original article link; - what you consider inaccurate or harmful and why, and the remedy you are asking for;
- if you have a reply, the text you want us to publish (short and related to the content).
What happens next
- We confirm that we received your request.
- If the request is reasonable, we may hide the page while we review it.
- A person on our team reviews the case in good faith and replies within 10 business days with what we will do: correct, hide, remove, publish your reply, exclude from the ranking or keep the content, with our reasons.
- We will never retaliate against a publisher or person for making a request, for example by changing their score.
Copyright
We show only short summaries with a link to the source. If you still believe something on BlinkRead infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- the exact link to the material on BlinkRead that you consider infringing;
- your contact details (name, address, phone and email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will promptly remove or disable the material when the notice is complete, and notify the relevant user where applicable.
